"We found this place on our route as we were traveling through. We were looking for something local as we have been disappointed by commercial chains lately. Pepe's did not disappoint. From the moment that we walked in it was a very pleasant experience. We were greeted by the waitress and her young daughter (I assume it was her daughter) who was helping her. It was so beautiful to see the little girl helping her mom with giving guests menus and silverware. The waitress was very friendly and we got to place our order with ease. Our food came out very fast and was very hot and fresh. I got the chicken chimichanga with rice and beans and it was delicious. My husband got the chicken enchiladas with rice and beans and he was very thrilled with his food. My daughter ordered the kids meal chicken enchilada with rice and beans and she was ranting and raving about how good the food was. The salsa was absolutely fantastic! The chips and salsa come complimentary if you are ordering food. If you don't order food the menu clearly states that it will be $4 and change I believe. Fair enough, this is a business. I definitely recommend Pepe's to those who are in the area! We are traveling in an RV and they had ample parking for us."

"Stopped in to eat a quick lunch. Food wasn't bad, hot sauce was spot on! The staff are very attentive and nice. I had the chicken enchiladas with white sauce. Prices were good."

"It's rare that I live close to a Mexican restaurant without giving it a try. I've lived here a year and am just now giving this place a try. I walked in and walked up to the cashier and she told me to sit anywhere I liked. The inside is quite low rent with plain tables and not much in the way of decorations. I waited just a bit before someone brought me a menu and took my drink order. The chips were of the thin variety and the salsa has bite as it's loaded with jalapenos! I ordered the Tres Amigos which consisted of a Beef Fajita taco, chili relleno, and a chicken enchilada. My food came fairly quickly and was just average in presentation. One thing that stood out to me was the taco was on the same plate and the tortilla was covered in the juices of the chili relleno. It was messy to eat. The taco was just meat in a tortilla. That's it. I typically like some toppings on my tacos. The enchilada and chili relleno were nothing to write home about. Maybe just a hair above average. The refried beans were nothing special but I loved the Spanish rice. The one thing that stood out to me was the fact that the food is way overpriced for what it is. My plate was $16.95. For that price I can get a very nice meal at some other places. That's steak territory and this food wasn't good enough to justify the price. I will probably be back at some point for the chips & salsa but when it comes to food, I will only eat here at lunch when the cheaper prices are on board! Take 2: I stopped by here for lunch and ordered the #5 chicken chimichanga. It came really quickly. It was covered in a cheap tangy yellow cheese sauce. The chicken was just plain boiled dark meat chicken. It didn't have much flavor at all. Definitely not something I'd ever order again."
